Teddy Bears of Love
The "Bears-of-Love" teddy bear ministry was born of Penny's love of teddy bears. From her overflowing collection, many teddy bears were put into ministry and since that time hundreds of new teddy bears have been donated by many individuals and organizations. Upon receipt, the teddy bears are given a "God loves you!" message and scripture tag and then lovingly delivered to the young and young-at-heart in need of a teddy bear hug. Past recipients of the teddy bears include the JVBC apartment ministry, Mission Yahweh, Star of Hope Women & Family Shelter, Ben Taub, and some to those displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
